So with this insurrection logic, if I tell someone to jump off a 50 story building and they do, I'm guilty?

If you were the president of the United States of America and you told someone to jump off a building, it wouldn’t be a good look

Did I miss something? Was he convicted of insurrection and the DOJ put him in Jail ?
NO ONE was convicted and put into jail for insurrection. Quite the insurrection tho and “It’s all Trumps fault”

This is the new censorship logic. Because now people have this power to utter words that can cause others to act against their own will.

If its Trumps fault then why isn't he in Jail ?

MAybe there's more to it then "its all Trumps fault"

Don’t worry, we’re working on it. We’ll figure out something! ?
lol ... 1000's of Lawyers and 1000's of left wing groups working on it. I have no doubt.

It's amazing that some people like Biden. Boggles my fucking mind. Guy is a self serving fucking parasite. Not that Trump is not either, but at least Trump pretends to give a shit. Biden is just an asshole. Just the way he speaks to people. Fucking POFS he is.

It’s actually difficult for me to hate the guy. He’s old and tired and clearly forced to be there, but I guess that’s the bed he’s made… And he’s almost as funny as Trump.

Biden does ok until he launches into sabre rattling, trying to make his kick-ass point as he gets lost, checks his notes repeatedly and wobbles a bit.

Section 3 of the 14th amendment, also referred to as the insurrection clause, bars anyone from Congress, the military, and federal and state offices who once took an oath to uphold the constitution but then “engaged” in “insurrection or rebellion” against it.

The Colorado courts agree on the ruling that Trump was involved on an insurrection. They disagree on whether or not the Presidential Oath includes upholding the constitution, which is about the nitpicking ridiculousness of saying a CEO doesn't have to follow the employee handbook because he signed a different employment agreement.

I don't think there is anyway SCOTUS will argue he didn't partake in an insurrection. I think they will argue the nitpicking wording and open up the presidency for more mafia like behavior.

I thought he said "I know some of you will want to peacefully protest"? Or similar.

I must have missed the part where he told people to riot the capital and jump off of bridges :dunno:

I was just saying that I personally think that the President should be held to a higher standard
I agree. Even if you decide that he's not 100% responsible for it I don't think he behaved in a fitting way for a President.

I remember hating on Hilary Clinton for her embittered whinging about losing the election that she carried on with for ages... I didn't think Trump would out do her but he carried on even worse and nearly brought the country down. He's a clown. Where do you get these pork chops from... Do better next time.

I’m well aware of how ridiculous we are as a nation, and watching that speech was the most embarrassed I’ve ever been as an American
