Now that this has had a few months to calm down, I'm gonna post this in RT. But I'm going to preface this with a couple of things.
No, I haven't personally had a sasquatch encounter. But I live in the PNW, and I know many, many people who have. People I trust implicitly. Family members. Close friends and confidantes. I believe they encountered something anomalous. I wasn't there, so I can never be 100%, but these are all people who know what a bear looks like, an elk looks like, a moose looks like, etc. One of my best friends, his dad got attacked by one camping on a scouting trip. My aunt's ex husband was a national guardsman when St Helens blew, and he said he saw the bodies on national guard flatbeds.
I also believe it's in the state's best interest to keep their revenue from the national parks, and there being some kind of relic hominid or feral person/neanderthal/cro magnon whatever the fuck sasquatch actually is would open a gigantic can of worms and cost a whole bunch of people a whole bunch of money.
Not to mention the foresting industry would go bankrupt basically overnight.
I think there's a vested interest in keeping sasquatch under wraps.
That all being said, I think Todd Standing hoaxed his "footage." The face of this creature doesn't move at all. It doesn't blink or squint its eyes in the glaring afternoon sun on a snowy day. It just looks like a well made prop. He mentions that it looks like an Ewok multiple times, but I honestly think it looks shittier than an Ewok.
The angles the face "Appears" at doesn't look natural, and neither do its movements.
BTW there is other alleged sasquatch footage that contains ALL of the characteristics I outlined.
I honestly think this is some kind of well-poisoning psyop. Someone is pushing dumb people to regard Todd Standing as an expert in this field, and everything about this screams "hoax" to me. It feels like when the media shits out really bad agitprop and people just accept it because it's what they want to hear.
What say you? Does this look as fake to you as it does it me, a dyed in the wool Sasquatch believer?
