Where I live, there are American flags on a significant percentage of the houses (some on certain holidays only), and lining the main subdivision streets on patriotic holidays.

I know it's not easy. I moved out of NJ 19 years ago, I moved my whole family. Had to change jobs, the whole deal. It was a huge pain in the ass.

I have a small amount of hope that once the last of the Boomers are out of government, there’s a small chance Gen X and some Millennials will bring a different approach to governance.

Now that the curtain is pulled back for everyone to see how the Uniparty works, maybe people will get mad enough and actually show up to vote some of these people out.

I’m probably being naive, but I do have hope.

A Convention of States coalescing and getting term limits on a ballot would go a long way too. There shouldn’t be such a thing as a career politician.
