Looking a little more into it, something seems off about the story. It supposedly happened on August 14th. She was fixing a sign at 2am. She told her husband and her campaign about the attack immediately, but no one filed a police report until 2 weeks later. And the story breaks just in time for the October surprise. The political slur part also comes off as fishy.
