DLR cancels remainder of 2026 tour reportedly from low ticket sales.

I recently paid $50 to see:
Sabbath Nights
Bulletboys
Enuff Z'Nuff
Buckcherry
Rhino Bucket

and price included these bands but my band had a gig and I couldn't stick around:

L.A. Guns
Helix
Kingdom Come
Dangerous Toys

$50 to see them, meet some fo the band members, etc. I met Vinnie Appice and signed a photo for $10.

Why would I go see DLR when I got to see three nights of great hair metal for $50?

I just scored free tickets thru my ATX connection for Santana with the Doobie Bros (yup with Michael McDonald) at Moody next month. They aren't great seats but if I had paid for them they would've been about $85 each. It's bs though. I had to create a ticketmaster account to accept the tickets and my "phone is your tickets" smh that's so freaking lame.....

I checked what premium tickets near the front would cost....damn near 1000 bucks each. WOW.

Fuckin' Roth has been washed for a looong time now. Ever since he started taking it upon himself to vamp all over the place.
It's part vanity and part hubris. When he stopped singing the Van Halen songs correctly and just winging it all over the place the melody was shot and the lyrics became a joke.
The hubris part comes in when he figures I sang these fucking parts and I couldn't care less if they want me to sing it right, I wrote this shit and I'll do it whatever I want with it.

*So yeah, if you can figure out how to go to these shows and totally block Roth, and when Al starts playing unblock him, you'd be alright.
I wonder how much of a hit Estrada is taking money wise with Roth fucking this up so bad.
Of course people see these videos.
and of course they're like yeah, that ain't gonna happen.
I'm thinking y'know, those extreme sound mufflers the guys on the tarmack use to block jet engine noise how 'bout those and some extreme sound deadening ear plugs. Put the ear plugs in and strap those airport mufflers over top. Roth is moving his mouth remain strapped. Dave's mouth quits moving take it off and enjoy. I think I'm going to look for some of those free tickets and try this out. Imagine the look on Dave's face when I'm front row there in front of Mr. Estrada wearing these giant headphone looking things. Ha.

Sorry, Dave's schtick was out by 1989 and he hasn't been a great or even good performer since the '90s.

I've always regretted that Ed and Dave couldn't bury the hatchet in 1996 for one more album. Me Wise Magic and Can't Get This Stuff No More (indeed) caught the highest tier of VH magic again.....only for a moment....

So this is hilarious...
I show my wife the vid posted earlier, and she looks at me and says " so is this a rehearsal right?"
And I say no, honey, don't let complete lack of staging or set design throw you off, this is a concert people paid mucho Dinero to go see.
And she goes " wow that's pretty bad"
For background, we've been together a long time, and one of our best memories from when we were dating was going to see the Eatem' and Smile tour with Vai. It was a killer show, and we talk about it from time to time.
She was pretty surprised how lame this was.
She did ask me who was playing guitar, because she thought that part of the tune was on the money.
The other comment was " what are those 4 guys doing over there?"
It was kinda hard to explain lol!
