We're not the sorts of people who would pay members to post and increase traffic (yes, this is one of the "rumours") or indeed deceive for our own gain (great theory that one seeing as we're not paid).

I struggle to get my head around the fact that I'm even feeling it necessary to say this. That sort of cutthroat bullshit isn't in my wheelhouse, never has been nor will it ever be. If it's not obvious to someone after I've laid it all on the line these past 2 years (with only 4 or 5 days off), dealing with whatever BS was thrown my way with, dare I be so bold as to say, aplomb, then I can't help that person. Judge a tree by the fruit it bears, not the venomous, paranoid, puerile protestations and accusations the likes of which I've become aware of recently.

It's not rocket science. Things had fallen by the wayside a bit by mid 2021. Things were tidied up and attended to more-diligently. A new lease of life ensued. Hardly-surprising, I'd have thought.

None of this should need be said. The implication that "the SEO" somehow vindicates a completely-false set of accusations didn't sit well with me bro'. That's all. Probably just needed to get that off my chest. :dunno:

I didn't know what "SEO" meant.
I looked it up and was instantly-triggered, thinking that there must've been yet another accusation flying around, one of paying some company or another to improve Google search results or something.

That's why the focus of my rant was an attempt to argue that the steadily-increasing numbers were a result of hard work and not some cheap-ass backdoor / underhanded "cheat"... in addition to the paid posters of course. Pablo Escobar would be proud.

I may add this to the post to make it clear.

PLX hasn't done anything "wrong".
When I looked up what SEO meant I immediately assumed another rumour had been going around that we've paid (more!) money for some other means of boosting the site. Yup, I was triggered, my only excuse being that it grinds my gears when one gives an endeavour 100% only to be accused of being underhanded, dishonest, treacherous and so on. It's a new experience for me so bring on the much-deserved heat 'cause I have to admit that I was triggered like a pussycat / shrinking violet. :LOL:

I've had a look at that 'other' forum (with its distinguished 11 members lol) and man, just when you think you've seen batshit crazy they take it to another conspiratorial level.
