Awesome Dave,

Now you're talking... Really moving some air.

IMHO best sounding CCV clip you've posted so far

Roid RAGE

Jeez that sounds killer man. I love the gurk of that amp. Thanks

p.s. Dude you'd have to sink pretty low in the shitting playing category to come close to what I play on demos. I don't ever practice, am never prepared and never edit anything from the video, you get the good, the bad and the ugly. Just like it should be. :D Your playing is fine mate.

If that is low gain on the CCV I can't imagine how the CCM would sound like.

CCV sounds like an amazing amp!

Sounds awesome ! I really wish there were more of those amps available ..

Sounds great. That makes the wait for my CCV even harder.

I don't usually like wah but yours sounds great. What wah pedal are you using?

Sounds fantastic Dave  I can't wait for mine to ship.
Does the Duncan Distortion in the bridge sound that good in other guitars also with the CCV?

Thanks for watching everyone

I wanted to put to rest the idea that w/d/w is the reason some of my clips sound good. To me the tone is still the same, just no delay or reverb :D

Hated it, I hate dry ass clips

Sorry :D

I played the CCM and CCV back to back at the NY ampshow a few years back. Always liked the CCV better.

Fuck. That sounds great! Your clips always sound awesome. I think I like this and your Cameron Jose clip. But this one is more my style both tone-wise and music-wise. That sounds killer. Not too much gain, not too little, just the right amount of mids. What pickups are in that LP?

Awesome as always Dave! You sound great regardless of a dry or wet setup.

That is exactly why I'm turning into an LP guy

Sounds great, Dave :D

That sounds really good.

I do not like the tension tuned down hlf a step. With a Floyd it is even worse.

I tune my pauls...well...all my guitars are tunes 1/2 step low or Eb...On my 25.5 scale guitars I use 10-46 and on my les pauls or 24.75 scale I use 10.5-48 . If you tune down go to a slightly heavier gauge and you'll keep the feel your used to and will get some better tone ta boot! ..oh...Nice clip Dave!! :D

Same here, except for my G&L (25.5" scale) I use the Hybrid Slinky guage (9-11-16-26-36-46)

Dave, this is one of my favorite clips of yours! I am beginning to think that some CL80's or Mesa MC90's may be in my future. Nice work.

I decided to tinker around with the CCV and record a dry, non wet/dry/wet clip through a single Cameron 4x12 loaded with G12-80's. My playing sucks since I tuned to Eb and I am not use to the lighter tension   I am playing with mid clipping and the 3 way voicing is to the right...making it mid-mid (mild) gain.  Cool song. I learned it the other day in about 10 minutes :D

Heroic punchy tone, to DA MAX

:2thumbsup:

I'm definitely not a fan of the CCV. ;) But this sounds pretty good.
