Ed lied for years about gear. That's no secret. The more industry people talk, the more you wonder just how much he actually lied about. And how much of what he claimed to have invented he actually did invent. There is no denying that he was a brilliant guitarist and musician. But definitely a flawed human.

Would you mind proving your claim?

I suspect you mean that everyone does not live up to your ideals or societal standards of behavior. Ideals and standards are fiction, btw. Useful for string sizes, tubes and shoe sizes, but there is no such thing as an ideal human being, only a fantasy in the mind of how they should be.

Now that’s not to say that we should put up with obnoxious nonsense either.
