Engl Savage/Savage SE or Invader? Which one is best?

Isn't the Invader the only one that works with regular MIDI instead of that 25 pin crap? I may be wrong... but I was research them awhile back and found this, maybe the regular SE does as well? Worth looking into... MIDI is mandatory for me these days...

idk i have the savage 120 E610 and came with a z10 footswitch pedal which claims it has a built in midi interface port but not sure how to use it haha but thanks for responding

Hi there looking for some helpful tips and advice on how to operate the engl footswitch z10 other than using the obvious 6 channel switching options it says it's also a midi controller but cannot figure out how to get into those functions would appreciate some help

I got a chance to play an Engl for my first time ever.
It was a Screamer 50 head into an Engl 2x12.
WOW. That amp has a very mean and meaty high gain tone, and the cleans are very nice too.
I prefer it over the EVH 5150 III comparing high gain and clean.
