i was partial in owning a neck through. ive never played one. i've a few instances where having the ability to take the neck off the guitar was extremely helpful.
plus i've never had the luxury to play a neck through. i heard the tones were smoother but lack the "bite" that a bolt on neck has on the upper registers.

Most of my others are bolt on and I find this far more comfortable.

ever since this thread was started, i've been in the makes of finding out how to get an M-II at a decent price AND in white which the USA or Japan does not carry.
im proud do annouce i finally submitted my bill on one of these - importing it from germany into the USA
PS - thanks zao - really helped me out in being able to do this! it will take about 2 months to confirm through ESP but i've been waiting this long, im sure it will go by fast

Very nice, I have the purple tiger from JKD. I love the damn thing. It is heavy as shit, but I love it. Congrats, I hope it arrives in one piece.

yes - me too. im iffy about shipping guitars lower 48, even more iffy when customs is involved, and even less convinced when its traveling half way around the world.
im going through an ESP dealer here in the USA to get it, but i was on my own in research as to how i could order one. they call it "customized guitars" but not "custom shop" necessarily. in new zealand, aussi, UK and germany the white esp's are average day joes
im really excited. im still going through with an entire rig setup, but this is only the second new guitar i will have owned in my entire life. the other was a 2007 jem. i had the chance to play a black/maple fretboard model in charlotte NC and instantly fell in love

I haven't really paid attention to the thread but I'm happy everything worked out. The white guitar looks awsome too. I just contacted Nick last week and I ordered a black ESP truckster.
