evh series charvel ??

I thought the necks were larger on the EVHs if my memory is correct. The basswood kills it for me, I am not a basswood hater by any means but for a charvel I like alder.

Well, I don't own a So-Cal so its hard for me to do a direct comparison. I have played them occasionally. The necks have similar but not exact feeling. I think you're right in that the EVH is larger. The width I thought was the same but the back shape is not thin, its also not huge. My Jackson PC1 has bigger neck on it.

I thought the EVH had the asymmetrical neck profile like the Wolfgang?

I love them. I just can't see taking an iconic paintjob like that onstage.

Why not? The audience will probbaly dig it. I play my Kramer 5150 replica at my gigs all the time. If you like it play it out.

I picked up the Black and white Striped EVH for about $1000 used on Ebay.
Now they are just ridiculous in price.
Great playing sounding guitar from what I remember.
