White 5153 100 watt with footswitch for $900 (local deal, I think. I can't remember anymore)

Brand New I would get the Marshall DSL40CR for $729.
I did just pick up a used Friedman JJ Jr. combo for $1019, if you find any Friedman Combo for $1000, grab that.

Can you still find a Peavey vtm-60 or 120 for under a grand? Also, the Mesa .50 caliber +,, and can't forget the Randall rg100es... Best solid state amp ever made IMO.

Can you still get a Randall RG100ES for under $1k? I didn’t list it because I thought they’ve shot up

I’ll vouch for the Randall GH200 which I just grabbed. One badass amp and they fly under the radar. Super rare though.

Yeah, rg100es heads can still be had for a grand or under, but some people still list them for more. I remember a time when you could buy them for $200 - 300 all day long.

I think I paid around $1000 for my Marshall JCM-900 Model 2100 SL-X 5881.

I got both of my Fender Super Twin amps for around $600 each; 180W RMS.

Marshall Origin 50H and 50C, both well under $1000 new

Have you done any mods to your Origins?

I just got a DSL1HR for $300 new. It sounds so good. I like it better than the 40CR I had. It sounds huge in the room too through my Friedman 1x12. This cab makes everything sound good. This tiny DSL is really fun to play and takes pedals well.
