I’ve had extensive experience with the following Celestion models: V30 (British and Chinese), RI Greenbacks, EVH Greenbacks, Lynchbacks, G12-65, GT75s, H75 Creambacks, and Redbacks. If I have to compare them to another Celestion model, they definitely remind me of a Greenback because they have a woody-ness to them. I think they might sound closest to the EVH Greenbacks. They’re very, very deep in the low end, but tight. Mids are flat, not scooped. Highs are smooth, a bit rolled off, but not dark. They sound killer with brighter amps. Just one can sound absolutely huge.
