PT100 + Suhr Koko = WOW
Huge fan of Suhr products, and the service is about the best there is.....love the PT...amazing sounding amp...and the koko is the shit! Only buffer i've actually liked...such a swiss army knife product.....Love the cab too....it's a bit different than the current ones...has dovetail joints and traditional Marshall type back board design.....I love that cab.....Now if i could only afford one of his guitars lol....

Looks like you already figured out what you like and have a great setup.
Was a long process, with too much trial and error lol, but i've found all the tones i was ever trying to achieve...between the Suhr and Splawn....thanks man

Aloha my friend. I'm home sick today, but other than that-- things are going well.

That guy got tagged hard, right in the eye. I bet he won't be standing so close in the future. LOL

Hey there! Nice collection of gear. How do you get on with the StreetRod?

Just ordered a QuickRod but considering the StreetRod or SuperSport for smaller venues/applications.
Hi, thanks a bunch....I LOVE that amp.....best modded marshall tone i've ever heard...feels great to play, yet super articulate.....was the sound i always dreamed about....The clean is not at all as bad as folks claimed, but my pt gets those duties. I want to get another in head form just to ensure I never have to live without it lol....it really is that good, you wont regret that purchase! Hooking it up through the 4x12, i really don't feel i miss a bigger wattage model...it sounds HUGE!...I will be getting the matching 2x12 for it. BTW, i noticed that Splawn 2x12 in your avatar, very nice!....How is that splawn 2x12? I want to get the splawn 2x12 in matching BOA for my Streetrod.

I have 2 of those cabs. Both loaded with Celestion Creamback's. AMAZINGLY good sounding cabs. I have owned VHT/Fryette, Marshall, Mesa, etc. and these are hands down the best cabs I have owned.

How does the StreetRod do at bedroom volumes? Is it 40 watt?

You'll fit JUST fine here

Welcome!!

What's that "Dimension" BOSS pedal all about?!?!?

Sweet, thanks! I hear good things about those creambacks, I may upgrade to them from the standard small block option when I order mine, but I don't know how they compare...the small block sounds so good with amp...I need to ask Scott about it. The Streetrod does great at low volumes, it has a half power switch and the loop master that can help with that....the half power switch switches between triode/pentode.....I believe only the competition and streetrod do that whereas the higher wattage models cut two of the tubes....or something like that.....Yup, a very loud 40 watts.....if you want less there's the supersport but it's 22 watts and no 3rd gear.

Hope you get to feeling better Zachman, I figured you might get the rack mount roland dimension chorus since you have all the other good stuff lol.....then you'd have all of the "big three" of holy grail chorus rack units. Actually, being i noticed that you have a sustainiac, I'm having a tough time deciding between connecting the wire for the humbucker neck sound or leaving it off for the single coil sound in my install....how is yours connected? I generally go for a very articulate neck pickup sound....shredable if ya know what I mean.

Thanks, it's a sort of motionless chorus, gives a spaciousness......check out Steve Stevens chorus on Flesh for Fantasy(studio version)....though that's the rack version, it's a gorgeous sounding pedal...lots of clips on YouTube of it.

Appreciate the welcome guys

Thanks...

I just have mine (Sustainiac) setup as a humbucker, not split coil. I didn't know you could even do that.

As to the Dimension D, the Eventide actually does an AMAZING emulation of that box-- but maybe if I find a good deal on one, I might just do that. I'm a whore that way. LOL

Here is a video and in the 2nd half, I use the GMW w/ the Sustainer in the neck and bridge PU positions, so you can hear the difference. Also, considering changing the bridge pu in the GMW Paul. It's not bad, and that's just it... it should be great. I have a set of Tom Holmes pu's (450/455) that I could install, but may save them for another GMW build. :)

Dude, the neck bucker tone sounds clear as a bell there, awesome tones!!! Looks like I have nothing to worry about! Man that helps A LOT, Thanks a bunch dude! Man I'm gonna have so much fun with this thing!
