I went to FJA's website and I can't seem to figure out exactly what the various mods they offer do - or even what they're called. I'll be straight up with ya, I'm far from a Marshall kinda guy, but this amp seriously got my attention - it sounds VERY Fortin'esque (tell me if I'm offside here fellas) and very crisp and cutting. I'm of the mindset to just buy a fkn JCM 2203 and send it to the lads to get done what you had done...the amp kills.

Send me whatever info you can - PM is fine, and that goes for you too JerryP

This is a new mod , listed under Marshall Mods on the FJA website called the FUPA mod, but mine has a bunch of extra's. This also has a tube loop with level control & second foot switchable master with 3 way zener clipping switch's over each the master volumes. Plus a push pull bass boost, smooth switch's, and push pull bright switch's on the 2 preamp gain controls. Pretty up setup and voiced exactly like my CCV....

damn... I have an old 800, seriously considering this mod. sounds straight up killer, and great playing man!

Front Panel from left to right

Presence, Bass, Mid, Treble , Master volume 2 w/ 3 way zener clipping switch above, Master volume 1 w/ 3 way zener clipping switch above, praemp gain 2 ( push pull bright) , preamp gain 1 (push pull bright)

Back Panel Left to right -

tube fx loop send and return, fx loop level control, smooth switch 1, smooth switch 2 , footswitch jack, push pull bass boost.

This amp is more versatile than the original "Nick" mod ... It does vintage stuff really well and is more touch sensative, but is smoother and tighter yet more agressive...

thanks again guys... i had it kind of dialed in a bit dark in that clip and i only mic'd up the CL80 which is smoother, next time ill throw in the H30 to and crisp it up a bit, it gets very marshall like tones to...
