Thanks guys. Yes, I know Jake is running his amps at pretty much the loudest possible setting, and I'm the complete opposite.

Running the power amp louder like that helps the diodes not be quite so immediate. I think the Jose is not as immediate as the BE and I'm running them both fairly loud. What I like about the Jose is that it sounds smooth and warm and bright and cutting like breaking glass and smoldering like it's about to burst into flames all at once. The BE is more polished sounding, not as raw, where the Jose is the perfect blend of everything.

I played a purple head shell BE100 back in 2010 at Tone Merchants. It sounded like a modded Marshall aka kitchen sink mod. It felt and sounded incredible. I wonder if the Jose has that same feel as the kitchen sink? I wish I could find that amp again.

The Suhr Koko boost works really well and so does the Griffin Analog Chiron. I prefer Klon type pedals over TS type

He likes to play loud. Caught him with Ozzy twice, Badlands once & Red Dragon Cartel., both Badlands & RDC were in small clubs & Jake was almost painfully loud with Badlands
