Thanks guys. Yes, I know Jake is running his amps at pretty much the loudest possible setting, and I'm the complete opposite.

Running the power amp louder like that helps the diodes not be quite so immediate. I think the Jose is not as immediate as the BE and I'm running them both fairly loud. What I like about the Jose is that it sounds smooth and warm and bright and cutting like breaking glass and smoldering like it's about to burst into flames all at once. The BE is more polished sounding, not as raw, where the Jose is the perfect blend of everything.
