No effects on it at all. We are busy it takes awhile for mark to sit down and edit. After all the guy works 6 days a week. This is just footage from the show not a official demo video. That will be coming from Steve himself. Hang on for that stuff.

Hey Guys,

I was in the room with Doug when he played on this video, Tasty playing and tone. Doug is a beast and good guy.

The Friedman Steve Stevens Heads are $3599 and we have several on pre order. If you want one feel free to PM, call or email me.

Cheers
Brad

Sounds thicker and meatier than the BE-100... I'd have to hear the mic'ed version. Sounds good but so far for me, I think i prefer the BE, just something about it from what I have heard in the PhilX clip.. also second the pink taco clip!

Sounds good for what it is, although I'm surprised with the promise
that you were preparing the footage many weeks ago that it is not
more than a quickie. What took so long?

Buyers are going to want to hear the clean channel.

What took so long???? I kinda have a lot to do at work. Lol.
We will schedule some time for clean channel clips too. You should come by the shop and see how busy we are :) there needs to be 48 hrs in a day.

Really? I think it's thinner and brighter sounding than the BE. I'm having a hard time deciding which I want to get, the BE100 or the SS100.

Can any of you guys who have heard or played both chime in on the differences?

I have played both :)
The SS100 has more bottom and a full clean(Fendery). It also has a more vintage type tone, but still similar to the BE100.
The SS100 doesn't have the SAT, C45, FAT switches. My BE was gone for a week to a high profile client and I played my rig through the SS100 for that week....I could easily love both.
Both are ridiculously wicked.

The amp sounds great. Wish I lived closer to CA so I could check out all the fun stuff.

Dave told me the SS is more vintage and has more bass...the BE is heavier and more modern.

Yeah! I not only want to know what took so long, I want to know why you didn't get Randy Rhoads to demo the amp. Freaking slackers!

You're exactly right...nothing about this clip sounds "thicker and meatier" than a BE. That said, it's a just a clip...it sounds close enough to BE that its impossible to pass any real judgement other than to say it sounds good.

And I agree with Curt...Randy should demo the amp

The guitar Doug is playing is also available from Luxxtone Guitars. Just shoot me a PM :)

Doug is one hell of a player and the BE-100 sounds great as usual. First Phil X and now Doug Rappoport!!!
