I have 2 Diezel front loaded cabs. One loaded with v30s and the other with k-100s.

I wasn’t liking the all k-100s and didn’t use it much so I decided to do an x pattern with v30s and it is insanely good.

Don’t know what to do with the other cab. Should I get 2 more v30s and keep it an all v30 cab, or
put the other k-100s in it, or mix them with something else. What goes good with v30s and front loaded?

I like H30 annies mixed with v30’s. Fills out the frequencies the v30’s lack. I think Friedman used that combo in some of his cabs.

Might want to give the Fane F-70's a try.
Im going to give these ones a try instead of Creamback 75s.

I have a Fryette FB cab with Fane F70G speakers. I'm not sure if they are designed specifically for Fryette and different from an Ascension F70 though. They sound insanely good though. I have a Herbert and FL K-100 cab that just delivered today - waiting for me when I get home from work. I had planned to see how I liked all K100s before swapping 2 for v30s (I almost just bought the 2 v30s along with them). We'll see how the Diezel cab stacks up to the Fryette cab though. All my amps sound killer through that cab for metal tones. I was tempted to just buy a second one. A quad of F70s for the Diezel may be an alternative route.

Please take detailed notes and keep us informed on how it all works out.

I like Eminence Swamp Thang & Texas Heat in FL cabs.

The K100s aren't all that bad, but the seem kind of flat sounding. The Herbert sounds a lot better through the Fryette cab though. The speakers are brighter and more aggressive sounding. The K100s seem more subdued in comparison. Also, the low end just sounds weird in comparison, almost hollow or boxy sounding. Now take it with a grain of salt since the K100s are brand new and haven't broken in. We'll see how they sound after some breaking in. I'm likely going to pull 2 and put in v30s. I had previously used that combo with Diezel amps/Mills cabs and they sounded great. If that doesn't work, I'm probably going to get the Fanes.

Yea my full k100 cab didn’t get much attention. Once I put the v30s in x pattern it brought it back to life.
