He said if 3 people complained he could build it in. Better go sign up at his forum and get a petition going.
Last I checked signing up still required agreeing to sign away legal rights and settle things through arbitration, putting the consumer at a strong disadvantage. I'll pass.

Really? What the hell.

Yeah, I know quite a few people who refuse to buy his products new because of this.

I've owned a ps and played a bunch of his stuff (some of which sounds great) but this combined with his absolutely pants-shittingly retarded political takes was enough to convince me there are literally dozens of better options for high end amps.

And he's woke too? Fuck. I need to seperate the man from the art I guess. My Deliverance is an amazing amp.

Yup.

I emailed them about that, and they responded along the lines of "It's just the forum defaults, we'll deal with it when we have time/it reaches the top of the priority list." So far it's still there.

A Synergy Deliverance and Ultra-Lead with a Fryette 2/90/2. A used Ultra-Lead. A used GP-3. GPDI-IR. Ultra-Lead II.

There is several options to get the Ultra-Lead voice.

Yup.

What’s all this pertaining to exactly? Forum etiquette with zero tolerance towards any criticism whatsoever (as in FB groups) against their products at all or about purchase/warranty stipulations for legit owners who paid good money for their product?

@Greazygeo like i think you're missing what my point is - 90% of the people that would be interested in a pittbull just wants the ultra lead high gain sounds and not much else - you're paying a massive premium for menu diving on a digital screen, not to mention cramming into a 2RU space with new trannies and a whole bunch of unproven digital tech that is going to make it impossible to service and make its product lifetime exponentially shorter.

The massive majority of this product's target audience would prefer:

1. If it is going to be 4k, an actual full size amp that takes the classic UL and makes it meaner, badder, more aggressive, more gut-punchy, etc (kind of like the uberschall vs the uber ultra) or...

2. If it has to be a small form factor rack unit (because it helps stevey show off his CrAzY EnGinEeRiNG SkILlZ) would rather have a more simple pittbull rack preamp with an analog GEQ or something without all the bells, whistles, and AIDS - and most importantly, have it cost a whole lot less than 4k. Similar to how the Power station is competitively priced with similar units. Maybe 1500-2000$ or something for a really nice analog preamp.

No one so far in the thread (especially me) has said "it's going to sound bad." Not one.

What I (and a whole bunch of other people) are saying is this is a puzzling decision business wise, because the product is a hammer in search of a nail. Even in the wild west of guitar gear, RT, there are very few people who this is "for" - maybe you, steven sawall, kelly maybe? Out of hundreds of people who all fucking love the tones of the Pittbull and would love to add one to the stable? And how many of you guys are actually going to buy one?

That's not a winning business decision.
I get what you are saying. The small sample of “typical” RT-ers are not the entire market. I get that they want a typical looking amp for whatever their reason is. In reality even if they say thats what they want, chances are likely they won’t buy one anyway.

For me, an older guy that still goes out and gigs (not as much as years ago) this coukd be great. I still want to be able to use an amp and cab and not have to give in to the modeler route. Is my Wizard and 212 cab impossible to move around, no. But having something lighter would be great.
With my OG UL I used maybe 1/3 of the features. Never used the clean and lead channels or graphic eq. I suspect this new one may be the same, but maybe I will use more of it. Still have to hear it first though.

The power amp being able to use either el34’s or 6550’s or all four is interesting.

The presets and midi switching for effects would be nice for my cover gig. Used to do that with my OG and a GCX with a box that plugged into the footswitch jack (can’t remember the company now).

As for #2 doesn’t the Synergy UL module fit that bill? I have not played it to know.

Waiting for the Macontents deeper dive and at least hearing a demo of it. Tonewise it may not at all be what I am looking for.

Actually I think youre right that RT isn't the "typical" market, but they are actually the target market. Like we, RT, are the people that are most likely to buy this shit.

Kind of, I think it sounds good, but the pittbull power section is a huge part of how that amp sounds, at least to me. I think the synergy module sounds good but it isn't exactly the same. I havent tried one out with a world-shattering power amp like a 2/90/2 or soldano or something, just the synergy 2 module head and then with an LXI.

I'd have to outsource this question out to someone with even more experience with it, honestly. But also, if the synergy truly fits this hole, why the fuck would he make another rack unit?

You know what I mean?

That is how I was with almost every amp out there and started focusing on buying single channel amps with none of the fluff...So this is the opposite direction for what I would want.

I get the weight thing for sure. But for me, I would just get an FM3 and be done with it if I wanted ease of use and light weight.
