So if someone who read my post has a morale bone and would like to sell the Port City back to me
I'd appreciate it. Guitar Cnt. Said they "accidently" sold it even though I had money on it.
They said it was also odd that it was sitting there for months and months and suddenly people wanted to order it.
Coincidence that I just posted it here.my bad and also Guitar cent. bad.they said they were sorry and would give me a deal on something else! : (

You should keep an eye out for a Fatbottom 2x12 with P50Es. I have 2 and they're not very tall, but they are full depth and have convenient recessed side handles.

Drooling!

I like me some Fat bottoms!Anyone have experience with Jensen Neo 100's
And VHT/FRYETTE voiced amps?
Got a PCity 212 that came loaded with those.Neodymium magnets.
Hope they voice well with my Sig X!

No ... but would be interested in what you think. Let us know once you check it out on this thread..... :)

Bumping this back up from a while ago.

What did the OP end up with?

So, I'm grabbing another Fryette Sig:X, and part of the deal is a Fatbottom slanted 4x12.
I have no use for a 4x12, but it's too good of a deal to pass up.
It seems to me that most folks using the Sig:X prefer the Deliverance cab.

Anyone prefer the FB cab?

Here's the thing, I think my Sig X sounds best with my 2x12 vht cab with p50e's but it also sounds amazing with my g-flex cab and the 4x12 Carvin Legacy cab loaded with v30's at my practice space. From what I hear it isn't as picky about speakers as the Pitbull's are for whatever reason. Congrats on the new amp it's one of my all time favorites, very deep amp I am still finding new sounds after two years plus with it.

The deliverance cab supposedly sounds a little looser, due to the front baffle design. Steve Fryette once said that removing a handle on the FB cab will loosen it up (if it's too tight for ya).

I have been able to get usable sounds with any cab I have tried..... I do have my preferences.

Hey dude. I've run my Sig X through a 4x12 fatbottom, 4x12 Rivera Seven cab (G12 K100s), and my 2x12 Rectifier with V30s. It's not much help but it really sounds good through any of them. It's a really versatile amp and I didn't feel that it was hindered through any of them, although I prefer the two 4x12s by a bit. The Ultralead in comparison is a bit finickier with cabs I suppose but honestly I'd still be happy run it through any of them.

Unfortunately I haven't ever played through a deliverance cab and can't comment on it. If you're getting a good deal though I'd say definitely go for the fatbottom and just keep it for when you do need it :D

I got the amp, and it sounds great through my Bogner os2x12!
The cab hasn't come yet. The seller is having a difficult time finding a way to ship it from Florida to Texas for the price he quoted me.
Anyway, the Sig:X is a killer amp.

I've run my sig through a whole mess of different cabs/speaker combos and I actually like it best with greenbacks. To me it gives the amp a bit more character vs v30s or p50s. My usual setup at home is a port city 2x12 loaded with Lynchbacks and it screams.
