Since they added that line of indonesia made "standards" though, eeeesh

i've had some almost unplayable ones shoved in my hands to fix - bad setupts, bad fretwork, twisted necks, all sorts of crap

Yep. They basically rebranded the "squier vintage series" or whatever it was called "fender standard" so they could squeeze more money out of the consumer, while having much worse QC

It's honestly one of the most brazen, shitty, penny pinching things ive heard a guitar company do since BC rich in the 2000s
