Just watched a few vids, seems pretty cool but man that thing is kinda butt ugly. I can see all the djent guys loving this thing.

None of you GAS addicts bought one of these?
Only $1,900. Chump-change for you rich dudes!

:D
I was going to ask where you were on this thread as "GAS" was mentioned in the title.

Even if it's only $1900.00, it's like a gateway drug. First it's $1900, next thing you know, $19,000 in gear - you know how this disease works... It's either moderation, or abstinence. A dicey affair to say the least.

Everyone should buy three.

It's really ugly..

It's plain Jane.. They couldn't even bring a capital I for invective..

With onboard Noise Gates, this thing is meant to bring the Gain....

It's all about what's inside...that's like saying chrome valve covers make your car go faster.  I bet this thing is going to be a badass amp. Also, assignable onboard TS type boost are a great idea that I'm surprised haven't been implemented before now. Takes a pedal off the floor, allows it to be assignable instead of having to do the tap dance when you go from dirty back to clean, etc...AND there's a built in assignable gate-there's another pedal off the floor. That being said, that footswitch is a behemoth.

LOL! I was wondering where he was at too! The +$500 warning alarm went off! LOL!

For an American made amp, this thing has a LOT of functionality. I'd like to check one out but for $2k... I dunno... At least they include that footswitch. I'd certainly take one for a test drive. The aesthetic IS all over the place. Kind of looks "hodge podged"

That footswitch is ridiculous. That's $400 right there. Not too crazy about the Djent stuff, but Misha knows what he's doing. Looking forward to hearing some clips.

I dig that you can toggle between two channels(including gate on/off,masters,boost and either or both loops on/off)on just one switch. I am sure you midi masters are not that impressed with that, but for a troglodyte like me,that's pretty groovy. And I don't think it's that ugly, but I have strange tastes.

Bulbs "how to dial in the brootalz" video is pretty cool.

Hope they sell a bunch of these so I can scoop one up used in a trade or something.

1. - YES. It's a pricey little sucker!

2. - Made in the USA? Comes with a NICE footswitch. ALL amps should come with this.
I think it looks great. I love the way it looks.

( These are not out yet? Nobody has one? )

1. - TRUTH! You are absolutely correct.

2. - I hope you are kidding. :scared:

Hmmm, i hear this comment way too often about Peavey, the "That's too expensive for a Peavey" "Made in USA" here folks....... Why? We pay big bucks for other "Boutique" amps and that seems OK!!!!!

I am as guilty as anyone here about it, but i love my Peavey gear as much, if not better sometimes!!!!!! My Wolfgang guitars for example, damn, not many guitars can knock them from my personnal #1 spot, they simply rock.

My 5152 that i paid $450 CAN, can hang with any of my big bucks amps, BE100, $4000 USD,Peters triple, $3500USD, VHT UL, $3000++++. These are new prices though, but you get the idea.

So anyway, this new Peavey will rock hard, features are off the charts, a nice midi delay pedal and a midi chorus and i am good to go, dont need anything else!!!!!!!! What a rig.

If you look at the photos of the back panel it only says "Designed and engineered in USA" but does not specify where it was assembled.

Which is code for: MADE IN CHINA

:scared:

If I'm dropping TWO GEEZ on an amp head... it's going to say ENGL on the front of it.
