I have more heads than I need but every time I try and pick one to move I play through it and it saves itself. I want to get a Strat, possibly a Les Paul and I’m at the point where I like something to go out for a new thing to come in, but the one you pick, probably haven’t played in a while, inevitably rocks your world and does something, ever so slightly different from your other amps to justify it’s existence.
Damn these 1st world problems!

I've got this going on. Bogner 104BV, X88IR/SM100R rack rig, JP2C, and a Synergy rig all do similar stuff. Plus random rack stuff - Triaxis, CAE, a Rivera Hammer, Myasnikov pres etc.

The Bogner stays but some of the rest needs to go.

Then I've got my Victorilux country rig but that's not going anywhere.

I totally get this. I played 'amp of the month' a while back and cycled about 4 'dream amps' through the collection and ended up moving them along. The ones I have now are so personal to me that I just can't get myself to let any of them go. All I have to do is fire one up and within minutes I am reminded of why I got it in the first place - and why it survived my 'amp of the month' phase (LOL)! So I totally get how hard it is to let go of the true 'keepers'
