GASing for a double neck... anyone have experiences with them to share?

My guitar tech had one of these on his bench a few years ago for a restring. Without thinking, he cut the strings off and started working on it, only to discover that no strings fit a baritone with a Bigsby. He had to custom order a set of Bass VI strings and tune it weird for the customer (which he was okay with). It was an ordeal.

If it don't come with strings, I'd pass on that.

It's ugly but it's probably a pretty good axe; agreed that $1700 is too high for it. If it was like a double neck Destiny or something that would be a steal
