Gibson bridge stud question

Just noticed on my relatively new SG that one of the bridge studs isn’t fully seated in the body (see below). Can I gently tap it in with a wooden block and rubber mallet? Or is there a risk of f’ing things up?

I was just reading about this and a l9t of folks were saying that it isn't a big issue and you can tap it back in and even put some glue in there.
