you're gonna shit a brick when you get that SLP back! i love the trannies on those things, they're a hell of a mod platform.

I feel your pain brother!! For what its worth, Mike will eventually be modding My metro amp but Im not sure if he knows this yet

I'm pretty sure Im going to shit because Mike tells me that SLP has the original Tranny and Ive always thought that amp sounded killer but it was always unreliable. it would always pop fuses and Blow tubes and Mike actually found out why..so Im stoked!! I can't wait to get it back but him loaning me the 50 watt cali mod doesn't suck !!

Thanks for posting! Man that bass guitar is loud eh?

I know that clip was low volume, it sounds really boogie-ish like a Mk IV. Not much attack and dark (at least on these speakers). Is that just how you dialed it in or the basic voice?

That backing is a nightmare with the bass lol Im going to re-do the whole thing.
Totally how I dialed in the amp. The basic voice of the amp is very mid heavy but it can be changed because there are bright switches and levels of gain that can be added or subtracted. The amp can get plenty bright if you want. Youd probably like the less compressed setting. As far as the attack, Im not sure if I understand. The chords leap off of the amp and it more then possible I didn't capture that because I didn't putz around with the Microphone to much

When playing the palm muted chords, the attack sounds very "soft" like I hear with boogies. Kind of mushes into the chord instead of having a solid edge...probably doesnt make sense.

The Meathead has my last name in it.... I can hear it now....

Definitely makes sense now and thats more then likely because I had the Max compression on the amp and low volume. I do think that there is a Boogie vibe in the amp when set for extreme compression which is 100% why I dig this amp! The cool thing is that it doesn't mush out at REALLY loud volumes like my Boog does and there are more Marshall like tones in the amp.
