1981 to 1983 vertical input 2203. I have a 1983. It is a beast.

The 50 watt 2204 was good all years iirc. Mine is a 1986 and it absolutely kicks every ass that it sees.

Pretty minute difference IMO. I have a particularly killer 2204 that arguably has the best tone of any amp I’ve had. My 2203’s have a little extra heft I think. But the tone and feel of this particular 50 is just right to my ear. It’s really hard to quantify the differences
