Good Price for Diezel Herbert

I had assumed this seller was a local guy or something.....

You went ahead and sent him over two grand and he's obviously either a scammer or a dumbass? I will NOT buy anything long distance from anyone unless they have been a member here at Rigtalk for a long time and everything has to sound "right" when I speak to them on the phone. If something seems a bit off, I'm OUT. You can learn a lot about the other person in 10 minutes on the phone. I hope your guy is just a dumbass, and not a scammer. :confused:
 
I guess Fed Ex tried to deliver the amp yesterday but my girlfriend wasn't home to sign for it. Hopefully they'll catch her tomorrow or on Friday. So I don't think he's a scammer. I'm pretty comfortable with it. I guess I'll find out soon.
 
Yeah, I wouldn't be too worried yet. Like I said, I saw this same amp (same picture) on eBay, and I don't recall the guy having 0 feedback, so seems legit.

And Chris, I get my cab tomorrow! The guy shipped it out really fast, sent it yesterday right after I paid. The only problem is I won't get to test it until I find a Herbert MKII. There is only 1 I know of online for sale, and that's the on eBay for $3,990. I am gonna lay low until someone puts up a used one for a good price and jump on it. So we may be testing our amps out around the same time after all! But I will most definitely be writing a review (after I recover from my euphoric coma after playing it the first time).
 
Sorry this thread has been going on for a while. Just wanted to let you guys know that my girlfriend received the head last night and it looks awesome. I didn't get a chance to have her turn it on and try it out but hopefully soon. Thanks again for all the help guys I really appreciate it. As soon as I get back and get a chance to play it I'll post a review on here. DIEZEL EFFING ROCKS!!

No from some dude in Cali. I'm buying the FL cab from guitarlegend.
