'Sounds just like a tube amp'

No it doesn't. I love modelers, I truly do. I have 3 of them. But there's no way that a box of boards and chips sounds just like a transformer and a bunch of vacuum tubes. Do they sound good? That's a matter of opinion. Are they fun to use? Same thing. Easy to record with? Yup.

Does it sound like a tube amp? No.

evh, lynch, red dragon cartel, Sykes...i guess those don't count.

Mint except for a few scratches. Wouldn't everything be mint if it weren't for the scratches?

Also how come every amp for sale has had no issues and just got a clean bill of health from your tech? Who brings an amp in to a tech unless there is some kind of issue?

I get the use of organic. It means a natural, pleasing tone to human hearing. Zero harshness. Harmonically rich (even order). It's much easier to say organic than all that other stuff!

cleans up nicely
killer
brown
mint except...
buyer pays paypal fees

"weird mids" or "a honk in the mids" (I think I've said this one a few times as well....lol!)

from the modeller crowd....
"I'm never going back"

Saying that the guitar you have for sale is "rare". Seems like everything is rare these days.

From the old crew...
"you put the left arm in...put the left arm out...do the hokey pokey.."
What in GODS NAME does that mean?!!?

Must be a REM tune...

Thought of a few more...

-case kept
-rarely played
-case queen

Brief and accurate description:
That's 8 syllables of wasting my damn time. And it NEVER brief, they're the longest damn ads! How would I guess if any of it's accurate after reading that 700 page novel!?!

Bluesy
Smokes (as in, "This amp SMOKES X and Y")
Easily buffs out (If it's easy, DO IT!)

Some legit gripes here, but also some terms being mentioned that have real meaning.
"Harmonically complex" may be overused/misused but it's a real thing.
What other term would you use to describe cone cry? It has real meaning.
A "saggy bottom" is just that...play a cranked up, tube rectified tweed Fender and you'll understand what it's all about.
Resonant is another very real and meaningful term although it is frequently misused, especially when used in conjunction with sustain..."the FU big block increased my sustain and resonance"...no it didn't, pick one.
"Cleans up well with the volume knob"...not sure why that would drive anybody nuts as it's a simple and accurate way to describe dynamic response (coincidentally another frequently misunderstood concept).

Feeler
ie I will take your money & gear if you are willing to pay waaaay over value
