Yup but nothing for the Brigand...

Yeah, I have had some unfortunate setbacks with getting Brigand clips. I have a lot of material when it was in development but I don't yet have any good recordings of the final production circuit. The development period clips are not representative of what the amp sounds like in its current design revision. I'm gonna try to get some clips as soon as I can though.

Between the first production run of Brigands getting built and my own personal Brigand getting trashed by FedEx, there have been some delays in that department for sure!

Welcome! Great forum to show your product! Look great and dig the racing stripes!

Thanks! That's a sharp looking amp you have there in your avatar!

Can I have mine built with more goop?

Sure, can you supply me with a few jars of Nutella? ;)

I located a clean clip. Not much has changed on channel 1 since it was recorded, so it's pretty representative of one of the types of tones you can get out of channel 1 when you dial it in clean. It was recorded with an alder body Strat loaded with Lace Sensors. Neck/middle notch position, finger picked.

I know most people probably want to hear the high gain stuff. I'll try to get some good clips as soon as I can.

Also, here is another clip of the Suckerpunch15. Same Strat running into a delay pedal and then into the amp.

i thought this thread could use a little more eye candy.

^ Hey, nice amp! ;)

Alright guys, I've been getting a ton of requests for Brigand clips. I'm working on a Brigand clip today and will post it up when it's done!

Hey Craig,

Welcome aboard!

Glad to see you've got a warm welcome so far. This a great forum and there are lots of cool people/topics on here. Enjoy your stay.

Your Brigand clip sounds pretty good. I was in love with your Suckerpunch amp and then I heard the Toll Free Express and I was sold. Now this. You've rounded out your stable nicely.

Seriously the biggest sounding amp that isn't 50w+. I genuinely don't feel like I'm missing anything when I've got to turn off the big amps late at night and switch to this little bugger.

EDIT: Oh, and the guts are gorgeous.

Hi- late to the thread but just heard the Premier Guitar Summer Namm 2012 Suckerpunch Demo- cool little Amp.

Interesting that you use 5751s and some other tubes in your preamps.

Had a few questions about since there's a 12AT7 in the EFX loop- you could theoretically put a slightly higher gain tube there and turn the loop up- and it would be a Boost whenever engaged- is this correct ?

Also wondering about a kind of 2 channel 30-40 watt Suckerpunch type........maybe 2 KT88s in Parallel so you could yank one out for recording but have more clean headroom at a Gig- would this be very expensive ?

I see solens so, welcome aboard. Nice looking stuff.

Much appreciated, Jerry! That Rage gut shot was a low budget build. Normally I roll with Auricaps for couplers. :D

That's a shot of the Brigand prototype's guts.
I'm a bit late to the party, but hey, brilliant looking workmanship in the above gut shot. Welcome aboard Good Sir, you're in fine company 'round these parts. Great lil' introductory blurb to boot.

Let's see who'll be the first to spring for one of your fine wares
