That's a killer price on a killer amp...if I had the cash I'd be all over that amp. Got a 2203 out for a mod right now, funds depleted.....

I'm trying to pare gear down.. just sold 2 guitars and have a pending offer on a 3rd... haven't gone through the amps and cabs yet... but the rocket is staying

How would you say they differ? I had a Cherry Bomb for a bit and while I liked it, I ultimately decided I like my Helios a bit more. Seems the consensus is that the Bottle Rocket is more aggressive, which I would welcome. I have also come to realize one channel is all I ever need and use. Built in solo volume control is always welcome though.

It didn't cover much (if any) ground that I can't with the BR... it's just more convenient when doing it with a 2 channel amp. Also - perhaps a bit more headroom on the clean... I already have too many amps (can't believe I actually wrote that) otherwise I'd have grabbed it just to have it...

So you wouldn't say the tone is much different between the Rod side gained up and the BR set to rip faces off?
