Rather than talk about constructive solutions they rather talk about possible ways to bring about a recession. It seems one party is hell bent on inducing a reccesion and raising uncertainty to do so and the other party is just set on making a fair economy that benefits the average American.....

No agreements have been reached afaik. All that has happened is that Trump paused the 'liberated' tariff rate for 90 days to those countries that didn't retaliate. He's even extending the pause to the EU that did retaliate but hadn't enacted yet.

Hard agreements haven't been made and saying he "backed down" isn't necessarily true because you keep ignoring the fact 10% tariffs are in place across the board and China has 145% tariff on it. Nvm your ignoring the fact 0% reciprocal tariffs are on the table in some if not all sectors of industries in multiple countries who weren't open to the idea before.
Further more Trump even announced a pause on the EU to 10% just like everyone else even after they voted to retaliate since they haven't been enacted in good will.
Overall not everyone got what they wanted but it worked out better than not and that's how compromise works.

I mean being real here who gives a fuck, it's not something new, it's for the sake of American National Interest if it were true and why look for a there there and be angry about that but completely ignore the reality of real market manipulation and insider trading on the part of China...... there isn't any hard evidence insider trading took place but there is plenty to suggest China and the National Team partake in market manipulation and insider trading.
You do realize here that CNN/MSNBC/NYTimes and most on the far Left here are taking a position and a stance on the part of the Chinese Communist Party knowingly or unknowingly doing so......
And in any event regarding insider trading...... who gives a fuck..... America has no real conventional counter to Chinas National Team..... as always there are over the table and under the table deals done and maybe this is one of those cases and if it is in any case who gives a fuck because it's for the sake of National Interest and that's something the Far Left Woke either aren't aware off or simply just taking the side of China over their own country essentially out of petty spite to Republicans and Trump.

Apparently Canada didn't want to play ball ether and did retaliatory tariffs as well. My understanding is they are stuck with a 25% tariff.

Yeah I think same deal with Mexico on certain things but since there is the Nu-NAFTA or whatever it's called it's not as bad as the others or Chinas and more on things like Autos, a lot of other things in the Nu-NAFTA deal are not terrified.
More or less the same tariffs on Canada that have been in place for a while now. I think Mexico got a slightly better deal due to negotiations but not sure in the end it more or less worked out. Now Trump is set on doing the same he did in North America but across the world and strike deals that make sense with other countries willing to negotiate and have access to the worlds largest economy and markets in America and invest here with balanced trade ^_^
