thanks to our great leadership the market is hitting at all time highs

maybe the TDS folks should cash out now since they hate Trump so much. Yall hate him thatmuch then why profit off him

they can reinvest when a dem gets back in. this way if they are lucky they'll have no growth for 4 yrs
or they will probably lose 35%

another day of bargains in the market. Hope some of y'all are taking advantage of the discounts!

SpaceX IPO is going to "unsettle" the markets.

I’ve read several analysis articles about the potential up/down sides of getting in on the IPO. Nearly all suggest that unless you have big $$$ (like upper 6 figures big) AND the IPO over performs, stay away. Doesn’t feel like an opportunity for anyone other than the people that really don’t need the money 🤷

I never said I was getting in on the IPO or not; nor did I recommend for or against it; I said the SpaceX IPO is going to "unsettle" the market.

That said, I think SpaceX is going to "rocket up" with many making and taking quick profits; but I also see tremendous upside for anyone who gets in on the IPO and holds, if Musk's other ventures are indicative of its' future "trajectory". (puns intended).

for many investors who don't have cash on the side (many hedge funds, for example, have sold shares of other stocks to raise capital to buy SpaceX).

Some of the current market downturns are investors freeing up cash to buy, perhaps SpaceX or perhaps other stocks.

I've had money on the side, and have been buying the drops, at least many of them, including last Friday, and much of this week. I'm hoping the "fallout" from the SpaceX IPO provides other market bargains

I know you didn’t say you were buying in and I didn’t imply you were recommending either way 😉. I just weighed in on the topic.

Everything I’ve read said it will be significantly overvalued and would need to over perform at a high level to be a buy for all but high rollers. Like most things “Musk”, there seems to be a lot of fluff…

I got burned on a few IPOs
Nothing big but still burned.

I ride the wave don't know when to pull the chute and it crashes faster than could ever realize

Then get stuck holding the bag long term waiting and waiting

Although my accountant calls it a slap handed win. If i sell then i can write off the losses against my gains

Elon Musk solely owns the Railroad/Rail Tracks of the Future.

It's that simple and he is pretty much Carnegie now.

Buying upon IPO for something that is massively hyped is usually an effective way to Buy HIGH.

My goal is always to Buy Low.
