It doesn't matter if it's a solid body or not as the neck is going to change the playability of a guitar more so than changes with the body. Fretboards can shrink when it's dry and fret ends will begin to stick out. Quite often humidity has a significant effect on neck relief which has the potential to drastically change how an instrument plays and feels.cardinal":23wj1zp8 said:^ it can be, but it's much less of an issue for solid bodies.
