I’m not an EVH tone chaser, but this…

[ChurchHill]

I can’t go! Totally forgot that my daughter has her HS fall concert tonight.

Yeah, but you're likely have another chance to see him, but your daughter's fall concert... cherish that shit!

[Kapo_Polenton]

He plays everything well..and with less gain than the guys who played it like Randy or Jake E Lee. He is playing near me next Monday but Mondays... I work in the city, don't feel like sticking around. Sorry kid! Great player though.

[SonVolt]

I had one of these -- returned it. Felt sloppy, and the neck and some weird chemical on it to make it feel 'natural'

Interesting. I've got a relic'd San Dimas that appears to be the exact same base guitar - minus the pickguard, painted headstock and middle pickup. It also has a dark tinted "aged" neck, but it feels great and plays even better. I wonder if you got a dud.

[Lightning]

Derap gets that sound no matter what pickups he’s using, he uses the OX box and the Sunset Sound reverb, two sm57 mikes on Celestion greenback speakers

Jacob is pretty legit, and ngl it's kinda a shame to see him still making tons of EVH vids

His own stuff is also really, really legit and he should be pushing that a bit more
