Dressed the nut. This neck is odd. It’s like a high end…old strat neck. Anyway… threw a yjm fury bridge in it and getting ready to string it up and unleash the fookin fury….

Need to clean the pots. Neck needs shimmed. Feels good, plays good, sounds good… BUT…. Those two screws sticking up on the bridge are effin horrible. Who da F designed that shit? Wtf?

I’m going to make a big wedge and fill the whole pocket. I have a few thousand dollars worth of woodworking tools out back and a ton of American chestnut. Would you measure the string height and then figure the difference between that and the height you want and make it that high on the thick end? Never actually made one before….

its a good project. I see them at goodwill on occasion for about the same price even less
spend a weekend on it, refinish it if it needs to be install decent hardware and you got yourself a nice beater

Well she’s setup, wired up and tuned up. It’s a monster. . Action is ridonkulous. Harmonics pop…. Still breaking in the strings but damn… tuned to d standard and it’s effortless. Action is so low I can’t imagine how it isn’t buzzing but it isn’t. Debating on clipping the capacitor on the tone pot. What do you guys think?
