Four different AI sources, but hey, to each there own. You and Dan should publish your insights and collect your Nobel Prizes.
If i ask four idiots a question, i have four idiotic answers.

AI is a useful compilation tool and is getting better at recognizing and selecting various things. But it cannot decipher between a crazy person ranting, and an expert. So what you get in a summary is the most popular opinion. There is no magic.

Anyway, peace.

Ohfergodsake. You just compared 4 different sources to idiots. Opinion? OK...

I don't know who pissed in your Wheaties, but have a good day.

@DanTravis62 This really reminds me of our friend tonedingdong in a way. If you remember, his argument that the 20 watt amps sounded and felt exactly like the 100 watt variants was the manufacturer's sale brochure.

Even we have the OP here pouring through interviews, articles, and secret pictures to find the answer.

The only conclusion I can draw is that there may be a generation that believes anything they read...of course, they were the same generation that believed the talking horse was real...

Anyway, peace.

I am trying to be patient here. The reason that academics use sourcing is to ensure accuracy...however, the sources must be verified. So your sources are what exactly? AI compilations?

Ask those 4 AI sources the same question and you'll find footnoted sources. Are your sources are? What the fuck is with you two?

Your Nobel Prizes are waiting. Tell the world what you know. BTW. I've never given you or Dan shit about anything. Whatever.

God did two things that are very amusing. He gave morons the ability to communicate. And he gave morons no recognition of their own mental inadequacy. It is kind of genius, if you think about it.

If you are looking for the smartest people in this thread, the answer will be I do not know what Eddie was doing. And it isn't an accident that he hid what he did. It wasnt because it was special. It is because he didn't want people to copy his tone. He had a sound. And the sound most of you seem to go for is one that he didnt even like that much

Thread derailment done on my part. Feel free to have the last word. Be well, guys.

You are right. I apologize. I am an asshole. The truth is obsession can make people a little less than logical. There was no reason for me to attack you

It's all good bro. I've had too much coffee and when I do, I can get feisty. Apologies to you and Dan.

It's all good, it just seemed like a wild misunderstanding of what AI is and does, especially in this specific case because AI literally searches forums like RT for all of its info on questions like that

Right on. I have a high gain head and modern Celestions. I asked AI about nailing a certain tone and its suggestions were very helpful. (Alex's Lifeson's tone on his solos on "Working Man", the version on the first album, which used a very different rig) It did a good job of getting me in the ballpark of what I was looking for. That was the basis of my original statement that it might be helpful in nailing Ed's tone, and I was assuming that most people don't have a similar rig to Ed's. I should have mentioned that in my original AI comment.
