I Got the Gig!

I tried out for the Cleveland area band Centerless yesterday, and I got the gig. I'll be playing bass for them going forward. They're a progressive melo-death band in the vein of Opeth, with a bit of a black metal tinge. They have some fast, grindy parts mixed in with melodic clean sections. I'm excited to take part, because they needed a bassist and I wasn't doing anything with my bass gear. They seem like good people and we have a lot of similar interests in music. I'll begin working with them this week to learn their back catalog and start writing the bass parts.
