Haha, thanks guys. I'm a "young 402" according to my peers. Sometimes they think I can pass for 280 or so.

Congrats man. That should be fun.

Very much looking forward to it. I guess performing gets easier the more you do it. I'm still a bag of fuckin nerves on stage.

Sounds awesome man. Nice song.

Thanks!

wow incredible work. you made all that movement look easy.
reminded me of something like James Taylor would have done back in the day

Wow, thank you! Appreciate the kind words.

Kimgly shit 👑

Thanks for posting that! Great song. I still remember how nervous I was at the opening of my first show. I remember feeling like I could barely play. Thankfully that goes away over time.

Break a leg!

It's fucking nerve-racking standing up there all by myself. And now I have to do it for 30 minutes? Holy hell lol.
Thanks for the kind words man, I really appreciate it.

Congrats

I started doing some acoustic open mics a few years back; trying to be more active in the music community & get out of my comfort zone musically.

It led to a lot of cool gigs & fun opportunities.

That's awesome to hear and exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks for the feedback!

My gig is tomorrow. I've worked out my set list and I've recorded and released an EP in preparation. I did the distribution for it kind of hastily, so I'm not sure if it's on all of the platforms just yet, but it's on Tidal, Spotify, and Apple Music for now.
I used DistroKid and was kind of confused about some of the process and I'm hoping that I can work out whatever kinks still need to be ironed out. For now, I'm really pleased with how the EP came out and I'm super excited to perform tomorrow.
In preparation, I plugged my acoustic into an amp today and found out that I needed to replace the battery for my pickup, which led to cleaning the terminals, but I'm ready!

Oh and I'll be using a headstock tuner :gay:

Sneaky. As long as nobody sees the tuner, you will catch no grief.

Good luck man, you’ll do great👊
Break a leg!
You're gonna do great!

Hell yeah! Thank you guys.

Tiny lil D'Addario Micro Tuner. I needed one for my classical guitar where it is normal to not only use a headstock tuner, but also to tune in between songs; I ended up getting a 2-pack and found use for the other one here.

First gig and you recorded and released an EP "in preparation"? LOL You are already miles ahead of the competition bro. Nice job and good luck.

I was always a side guitarist in every band I've been in. When I started my three-piece punk band with my buddies a few years ago I'd never been the singer. On top of that, now I have to play guitar too. That first gig, I was so nervous starting that first song. The more you do it though, the easier it gets and becomes more fun. Enjoy it man!

That's awesome man. Good luck with the show today.

Now, having said that, I'm sorry, but there's no way I could let that picture of your EP alone, especially with that title...

I think the worst part is that now you're wearing tan pants.
