Sucks that the amp was damaged in return.
I've seen transformer damage like that from shipping where there was no damage to the packaging. It happens and has happened to stuff I've shipped and things shipped to me with similar thin transformer mounts. You can't rule out the bent transformer or chassis from shipping damage regardless of how the packaging looks in my experience.SavageRiffer":1yxt5i53 said:No apparent shipping damage. I think the transformer got like that because he took out the chassis and carried it by the transformer. It's really all minor, but man does it piss me off. As for the foot switch, I have no idea what that funk is at the bottom of the button. Bogner said nothing appears to be changed, but that there might have been an attempted mod, so they want a couple of angles to view the capacitors, etc.

i would get an estimate from bogner to repair it and file a shipping claim. i had a sig x get completely ruined in shipping and they paid out when i got an estimate from fryette.

What was the charge for? I thought a refund implied no sale had taken place.SavageRiffer":1pggbw6d said:Shit, I just got a bill from Reverb. I guess they still charge you even if you have to give a full refund. Another $54 in the hole, damn.

I'd imagine since your 'sale' never happened they'd refund that to you. Maybe it's just an automatic thing in their system. Give them a call. I'd bet you'll get it back. I mean, if you relist it and it sells, what, you have to pay twice??
Bullshit.
