He doesn't have the balls to deal with me, so he takes it out on weaker people instead - like a typical criminal. Kamran Kavian is a gutless, sniveling, swine. He's lucky, real lucky that he returned my amp because I was shopping plane tickets until I had my amp back in my hands. I didn't let him off of the hook because he'll face the law soon enough, but he's lucky that he escaped my hands.

I often thought of Carl's relationship and dealings with Kamran Kavian and wondered why it took so long for him to cut ties with the bastard, but I think I kind of understand what happened to Carl. I know what it's like to be self-employed and using your own technical skills to make a living. I did that for many years as a network engineer. Sometimes there were customers, especially lawyers, who would rip me off but did just enough business with me to keep me from beating their asses. You don't have much choice but to acquiesce to those kinds of customers when you have bills to pay and mouths to feed. Carl seems like he tried to avoid dealing with the guy, but was getting just enough out of it that he couldn't completely let him go. Now the ungrateful con bitches at him because he didn't cover for him this time. Good for Carl because he's better off distancing himself from that maggot.
