Since we've gone full circle and are back on the the direction wheels are pointing and he could have easily stepped out of the way I want to reiterate some points I've made earlier in this and other threads. I've brought this up with you already, but you never responded or acknowledged what I posted. I don't want to assume you ignored it so maybe you missed the posts.
I've seen this video before. About the only thing this guy has is the thought of shots 2 & 3 were excessive. The rest of his analysis is leaving out some crucial elements that changes the entire framework.
- He wasn't in her line until she reversed. He was off to the side before that and didn't walk into the direct path.
- Everything lining up was a combo of him stepping and the vehicle reversing.
- Before he even pulled his gun the tires were pointed straight at him as she pressed the accelerator. In a slow motion video you can clearly see the front tires spin out on the ice. It's at that point he reaches for his gun.
- My opinion, I think the tires spinning out in that instance is what saved his life. If not for that we'd be looking at an entirely different situation.
- From the agent's perspective he did not have a view of which way the tires were pointing. The vehicle was pointing at him as it moved forward.
- The agent was struck hard enough to cause internal bleeding.
- There's body cam video of a similar incident that shows just how quickly things happen. We're talking literal fractions of a second to react.
- An officer was at the front of the vehicle attempting to make an arrest of something like that.
- On the body cam footage at the 3 second mark the driver hit the gas and rammed toward her.
- By the 4 second mark the officer was under the tires and crushed dead.
A couple of additional points/opinions that I want to restate
- I don't think Renee Good had malicious intent when she struck the agent. I believe it was a case of reckless abandon as she attempted to drive away. It's disingenuous to present this side as her raging with the intent to run down ICE agents on the scene
- I do not believe the ICE agent had any intent to gun down any protestor and what happened to Renee good was in the heat of the moment. So it's equally disingenuous to portray the ICE agent as if he just walked up to the window with murderous intent and unloaded a full magazine into Renee Goods face.
- I do not think Renee Good deserved to die in that situation, but I do believe her poor choices is what lead to her death.
- I do think Renee Good did have a right to be there in protest. I do not think Renee Good had any right to be blocking the street or impeding federal operations in any way.
- No one but Renee Good and the ICE agent were in that situation. Aside from a full object analysis from the the videos that are out there, everything else is speculative opinion.
I know I've referenced Tim Pool's videos several times already. That's because he seems to be the only YouTube talking head that is actually taking an objective look at the event without getting into all the emotional rhetoric.
This will be the same video, just cued up to two different spots.
The first is his analysis of the events; which if not obvious I agree with. And this was before we knew about the ICE agent's injuries, but the analysis still holds.
The second is the body cam footage of the similar incident I referenced. I want you to pay special attention to how quickly everything unfolded while keeping the incident between the ICE agent and Renee good in mind.
