Editing or no editing or whatever BS......
It takes Real Talent, Real Entertainment and Real Skill to do whatever doesnt come to everyone else.....
On average in whatever capacity or way they do it...... Naturally or otherwise
Some may not be as talented or entertaining or have as much skill as those who actually do....
But it's no need to bring others down to bring oneself up......
And in this case IMO.....
"The collective self" of the vast majority of musicians on average that unfortunately can't and won't ever in their lives wear the hyporbiale "brass ring".

He'd have to be far away before things got badly out of sync. Sound travels about 1 foot every millisecond, so even if he's 10ft away that's only 10ms of lag.

I dunno man. I got a few minutes into this video before it felt like the drunk uncle at Thanksgiving talking about conspiracy theories he read on 4chan. Prerecorded miming, sure. I can agree with that, but if it’s an original composition then I have no issues with it. That vibrato bit? Anyone can punch in vibrato effects at any point. Maybe there’s more to it in that video but it’s not leading with anything convincing enough for me. There was better “exposure” of that D’angelico hack that was convincing. Jack Mehoff or whatever his name was.
I don’t even like this type of guitar playing because it’s got no balls. Talent for sure, just not my cuppa tea. Anyways, I’m going to go play smoke on the water dudes.

I’ve recorded myself on a couple videos playing live. I recorded my guitar through my DAW and video through my camera. Before I start playing I do a loud clap as a marker. Then in Final Cut Pro I have to line the video up with the audio, which is a separate file. It’s actually kind of hard to get it lined up properly so my hands are not ahead or being the audio. With practice it gets easier though.
But looking at this video, that is not what’s happening.

im watching some crowd videos of him, what exactly is "fake", and what about his playing is so impossible?? His videos dont even have that many views on youtube, the videos calling him a cheat have more views than most of his vids. im just confused lol

Note that that is about 4000 times slower and 100000 times less complicated and less involved than his "performances" on instagram and youtube

I don't like it but almost everyone is miming online. He at least came up with the stuff which is impressive but that is going out the window with AI. Its also true that the other dude is monetizing controversy. Just a lot of garbage that is going to keep on getting worse.

It's not about the miming, per se
It's mimed performances that are clearly labelled live, first of all
but second of all, all of the mimed shit is stuff he CLEARLY cannot play - or else he wouldn't "coincidentally" go down 548 shred power levels whenever he is actually playing live or some other situation where he isn't controlling what people see and hear
