Update to my previous post... just bought the 2011 Martin 00-15M that I discussed. I was not planning on another purchase and shouldn't have bought it... but considering the sound I could not pass it up!

my latest impulse purchase..

i really don't need another guitar, but for some reason the wood just talks to me, and you can always find reasons why you might 'need' another guitar, in this case the active pickups..looks ahem , still waiting for it to arrive

considering i only play 3 different guitars, an ibanez and 2 prs SEs =0

that tele looks gorgeous tho

I've been gasing HEAVILY for this:

Ibanez Artcore AF105 but went out of stock so the GAS "calmed down" thankfully, otherwise I would have gotten it by now.

That's a sign man, now's not the right time I tell that to myself everytime I look at PRS's or Tokai PRS Copies and I can't find a nice looking one with maple neck. Hold off and something better will come along.

Guilty. I've been gas'ing for a tele pretty bad for a while now. The closest I've ever had to one being a shredder type with pointy headstock, floyd, and single humbucker. Saw this and decided to pull the trigger. It's a '75 Greco. Just waiting for it to arrive now.

I've been gasing HEAVILY for this:

Ibanez Artcore AF105 but went out of stock so the GAS "calmed down" thankfully, otherwise I would have gotten it by now.

But last night watching Teles video I fell in love with this 60th anniversary Thinline Semi Hollow Body, been having a hard time controlling myself. I haven't gotten it because of 2 things:

1) I REALLY want the Ibanez first and if I buy the Tele the Ibanez will have to hold a while which I don't want. I could really use a Hollowbody like the ibanez right now.

2) it's $1,800. If it were $800 like the other Thinlines I think I would have jumped already.
That Tele is too cool! The Ibby is OK as well, Which month was the Tele from? That is one of the Limited Tele-bration line right? They are limited pieces, I think 500 made of each one(someone correct me if I am wrong)(you guys normally do! ) so could be a good purchase as far as holding value, I bought the one from March, flametop with gold hardware and its a fantastic Tele! As far as impulse, I think they all are at this point! I think its ok as long as you dont go overboard, if I do that I make myself sell something to pay it off.
