I would spend it on time with great teacher. I have some decent amps, never had a high end guitar, but I have great pickups and electronics in my cheaper ones. I know that is not what you asked, but the more I buy, the more I'm reminded that I can't buy practice effort.

For me the theory behind having nice gear is that it makes me want to play more. I'm still using my old GK 250ML I bought in 1988 and nothing will ever top it for a practice amp. But Mrs. Lee is about to head to the office and I'm working from home today. So that means I get to fire up the big amps and play at full tilt for a bit today and that has me in a good mood. That's worth what I paid for those amps.

I find myself gravitating toward just a couple guitars and amps, the rest are just mothballed. Most of which I bought years ago. Someday I will open a small storefront and sell everything for a few months.

That fucker is probably sitting on an island, that he owns, sipping a pina colada right now.My mother in law gave me an Esteban amp a few years ago. I'm willing to let it go for 10k if anyone is interested.
Just kidding. It broke down pretty quickly and I threw it in the trash can.
