His is clearly modded for a power supply. What else I can’t say.

None of mine have DC power jacks.

DC jack install.
Resistor change to tighten up low end.
3 caps replaced.
On/off LED indicator install.
Replace bad pot.
True bypass on/off switch install.
Replace battery snap.

It was my first distortion pedal when I was about 10 or 11 and after a few years I traded it off for something I suppose. Years later I got nostalgic and started buying them when I could find them reasonably priced. You wouldn't believe what some of them are selling for.

The earliest D+ I've found was 1977. And even the '78s and '79s are going for crazy money.

Bud Box and Scripts are the same pedal, slightly different box. The early block logos are slightly different, but still sound almost the same. I think 1980 or 1981 they put LEDs and power jacks on them.
