What material is the insulation in the back of Bogner cabinets & where can I get some?

What difference did it make? Did it make the top end smoother?

Yes, and muffles the tone. I took it out of my Bogner, and I prefer it out.

I never did understand this, all the great sounding cabinets around and none of them have batting in themMaybe for super low end stuff maybe??

What did you use to attach the batting to the panel?

Info above from a book I read awhile back on building your own speakers... was interesting, but then again, guitar cabs are so specialized imho not sure if it would really apply. Just adding to the discussion.
