I keep my amp in a live in road case with no problem. Your amp isn't going to die if the vent is a little blocked.

Block your SVT vent and see what happens. Ask me how I know.

True. I still don’t think blocking a vent is a good idea though. If nothing else it introduces tolerance stacking into any future equation regarding failure or service problems. May be an over abundance of caution but if I have a choice I know what I would choose.

Appreciate all of the responses guys. @BeZo Interesting point about a live-in case. I guess some amps vent through the back, not the top and maybe that's sorta a factor when considering using a live-in case? Idk. I've been thinking about upgrading my Mark V 35 to a 90 and really wanna scoop a case for it too.
