it gets a nice smooth sound at a relatively low volume (though obviously sounds better once that volume knob is about at 11 or 12 o'clock) but it doesn't HAVE to be cranked to sound good. So bedroom jamming and lower volume recording is something the JCA is very very good at.

Hey Drew - massive thanks for all your videos demo'ing Jet City gear. I'm all-but sold on the 100HDM. People are right when they said you should be paid for your demos. I've got two questions:
1) I usually play at 70-80dB in my apartment. How does the 100HDM sound at that kind of volume? (I can't tell how loud you were playing in the videos). Plan B would be to get an attenuator or keep using my 'bedroom' rig at home (would prefer to use the HDM!)
2) Are you a Jet City beta tester or employed by them? Your videos seem the semi-Official demos for Jet City, though not labeled as such

Cheers! Ben

5150III 50 watt. Good clean, good crunch, and good god gainy on the lead channel. I run mine stereo with a Randall rd45! Which is equally impressive for a cheap amp, but the Evh has it beat in versatility.
Midi, 3chans, switchable loop.....

Hi Ben

No I don't work for them. Doug just sent me a few of their products to create some youtube media with.

The 50 and 100H/HDM are all gonna be loud but because soldano volume knobs are linear, it doesn't go from whisper quiet to really loud right away. It can sound good at lower volumes.

If it doesn't sound how you want it at the volume levels you need, a hotplate would work well for attenuation.
