I'm no expert on evh 3 amps I'm sure vintage 30's would sound good in that Marshall cab .
Why not get a evh cab made for that amp ?
I think the evh speakers are more like greenbacks with more watts ?
I forget what they are the same as but it's more expensive ?
I'm sure there are plenty of guys who know and could chime in ?
Best of luck !!
Jim

Thanks Jim the evh cab it's to heavy to ship to Puerto Rico. The Marshall cab it's like a month old and is from a good friend,it has g12-h30 speakers . I tried the avatar contemporary with v30 sounds massive and brutal.

"The new EVH 5150 III 2x12 and 1x12 cabinets are the perfect companions for the new EVH 5150 III 50-Watt Head, delivering pure EVH sound and power in a compact package.

The 5150 III 2x12 cabinet is rated at 16 ohms and is loaded with two 12" Celestion® G12H 30W Anniversary Series speakers; it is exactly half the cubic size (by volume) of its 4x12 big brother. Features head-mounting mechanism and tilt-back legs. Available in black and ivory."

Oh it uses the g12h 30's not vintage 30's.
Aren't the g12h suppose to be like a greenback ?

I've heard that all EVH amps were designed for 16 ohm loads so that the transformers are running at there max. I thought this was from the 50w lead designer Howard Kaplan. Many say that there is a noticeable difference in overall tone when the heads are running into another load.

The important question is : does this cab can handle metal?
